The Coalition of Innovation Leaders Against Racism (CILAR) was founded by two passionate champions of diversity and inclusion Yung Wu, CEO of MaRS and Armughan Ahmad, President of KPMG Digital. They both share the ethos that we need everyone to participate in this fast growing innovation economy which will soon represent half of the global GDP and workforce.
Joining the mission are Claudette McGowan, as Chair, and Serena Nguyen, as Executive Director. Leading this work forward, CILAR's model takes a bold, inclusive and action-oriented approach to realize the collective impact of CILAR's co-founders, contributors and community. As a diverse group of senior leaders committed to helping end anti-black and systemic racism in the innovation economy, our coalition recognizes that it is only together, that we can build and measure sustainable change for an inclusive future.
